BAYESENA DREAMS STUDIOS, literally meaning “Dreams of a Thousand Bays”, is a healthcare-focused lifestyle company based in both Manila and Toronto. It was founded by Jose Maria Miguel Burgos and Nathan Angelo Oseña during their second year in University. The BDS Team focuses on designing sensory-friendly surroundings, art, and various products. Central to their mission are the following principles:
(1) people-centered architecture should be the norm,
(2) experiencing beauty is a right for all populations,
(3) diversity is a real strength.
They draw inspiration from a conglomeration of art movements, leading artistic contemporaries, and the occupational therapy domain to take steps toward a sustainable, inclusive, and delightful future.
